Bending Discipline: Water

Nation: Northern Water tribe

Personality: Mizu is quiet not particularly shy but reserved and disciplined he is not a hot head and often has a very calm and serene atmosphere around him He does have an anger problem and can sometimes blow up on anybody even his allies his anger sometimes gets in the way of his water bending but he sees it as an advantage, Mizu loves the water but hates the cold, Whenever he is in the water he feels at home and is an excellent swimmer however he prefers the summer and spring season not really preferring the cold, Even though he despises the cold however he will use the Ice bending technique when he has to. He has a personal goal to master water bending and become a legend among the water tribe he also has a deep hatred for the fire nation and vows that he will one day combat the fire lord and defeat him.

Physical appearance:
Mizu has pale white hair and blue eyes, he has slight tan but still has some fairness left in his skin, he wears a black under shirt and a white coat over that the coat as the insignia of the water tribe on it he wears, he wears a pair of black leather boots, when ever he travels outside of friendly territory he wears a blue shirt with dark pants along with the same boots. He carries a water moccasin on his belt that is hidden by his coat.

Special Characteristics: He wears a special necklace that contains the essence of pure water this enables him to feel the water around him, note this only helps the user in basic techniques not make them all powerful in water bending. He has a special water dragon tattoo on his left shoulder that signifies that he is a full fledged member of the water tribe army and a number 18 tattoo on the back of his neck from when he was enslaved by the fire nation. He bears several scars on his back from his many hours of work at the fire nation camp many from burn wounds.

Mizu is a powerfull water master and has perfected his form of water bending...

Water bending techniques...
Water Manipulation: Almost all forms of water bending involve moving and shaping a body of water to the user's desire. By simply levitating a large mass of water, a water bender can move water anywhere they wish, even parting it under the surface of a lake or sea, allowing them to walk along the bottom of a basin without the need to swim. These large bodies can also be used as weapons, either by shaping them into gigantic whips, swung repeatedly at a target as a snake-like body, or simply dropped onto an opponent to smother them or put out a fire. On the sea or ocean, water bending can be used to create giant maelstroms. Aang and Katara used this to see off a giant sea serpent in "The Serpents Pass".

Snow manipulation: A move that pushes and levitates snow for attack, shielding and defense.

"Streaming the Water": it is a move that draws water from a source that a water bender moves around their body. A more advanced version demonstrated by Aang apparently involves "sinking and floating".

Water Whips: The most frequently seen move, involves creating a lashing tendril of water to swipe at an opponent. The shape, size and length are all determined by a water bender’s control. More powerful benders can create larger whips or ones of greater finesse. Due to water being incompressible, a whip can be sharpened into a blade that can even slice through metal with relative ease. Katara has shown the ability to create water whips with her feet with great finesse as shown in The Earth King within Book 2.

Water Jets: High pressure jets can be used to force opponents back or even blast clean through a target if focused enough.

Waves: By moving a large mass of water without separating it from its original source, water benders can create waves of nearly any size. This can be used to sweep opponents away or even as a form of transport, with the bender surfing on the crest of the wave. This same process can be used to propel water borne crafts.

Water Drill: A high pressure rotating column of water. Capable of exerting a significant amount of pressure upon a solid surface, that allows the action of a drill. Seen in the episode "The Avatar and the Fire lord."

Water Walls/Water Shields: Water can be molded into any shape and can by used to deflect an attack, trap opponents in a viscous body, reshaped and propelled at an attacker before they can recover, or solidified into a shield of ice. This diversity and ability to swiftly change to suit the situation is what makes the water bender’s defense so adaptable.

Water Thermokineses: Water benders also possess thermokinetic abilities regarding their element, meaning that they can alter the physical state of the water they manipulate (between liquid, solid and gas) at will. Changing the phase of water allows for multiple techniques in the course of a battle, from encasing an opponent in ice to hiding behind a wall of mist. Ice and steam/fog can also be molded in a diverse range of shapes. Ice provides a degree of hard lethality since it can be molded into spikes or blades to pin down or impale opponents. Steam or mist can obscure a battlefield and mask movement. Katara made good use of this to enhance her performance as the Painted Lady.

Water Pressure Manipulation: Water benders are also able to manipulate water pressure, allowing their techniques to grasp other objects or cutting through without simply parting around them. Since water is incompressible, it can be used as a semi-solid while being able to move and flows like a liquid.

Ice Spikes: A water bender can shoot small shards of ice at their opponent, or cause a giant spike to protrude from a body of water. The Northern Water Tribe employs these as a primary defense at their homeland when enemy ships are sighted.

Ice Creeper: A water bender can send a ray of ice on the ground, speeding at an opponent to freeze them.

Ice Shield: A Water bender can freeze an amount of water in front of them, creating a shield of ice.

Ice Discs: A water bender can create a cylindrical column of water and proceed to slice razor-sharp sections of it off and send them at an opponent.

Frosty Breath: A water bender can use their breath to rapidly freeze objects, such as metallic chains, or an opponent.

Water Knife: ability to compress water, allowing for the sharp edge of a knife. It enables a water bender to effortlessly cut through metal, wood and stone.

Water bending Master Level
The mark of a master water bender is the ability to swiftly change from one state of water to another and rapidly switch techniques during combat, keeping the opponent off guard while constantly adapting to the enemy as demonstrated by Master Pakku. For example, he deflected a stream of water away from himself, froze it, used it to slide behind Katara before melting it and then used it to counterattack.

Water Spout: This high level technique involves controlling a whirlpool-like pillar of water as a weapon, rotating it and directing its movements at the same time. Another form exists, which is nicknamed the "Water Snake", in accordance to the waterspouts constantly shifting and coiling movements.

Octopus form: A body of water formed around the user into 8 or so whip-like limbs. This can be used to grasp or strike an opponent or to intercept and seize incoming attacks. It is assumed that this requires a great deal of concentration.

Ice Prison: Covers an opponent in a prison made of ice. By finely controlling the position of the person within, this technique can restrict the motions of a water bender’s hands, thus rendering them powerless.

Maelstrom: In a large body of water, a water bender can create a gigantic whirlpool.

Mass Freeze: A water bender can freeze multiple targets at once.

Monsoon: A water bender can cause rain to fall from clouds in the sky and cause a monsoon of frozen rain or unfrozen rain.

Sweat Manipulation: First shown by Katara, resourceful Water benders can bend their own sweat to use as a makeshift weapon in the case of being separated from a source of water

Condensation: Not only can skilled Water benders condense clouds into a usable source of water, but they also can condense invisible water vapor right out of the air.

Blood bending: Blood bending is introduced in the episode "The Puppet master." Since the human body is roughly 70% water, Blood bending does not necessarily bend blood, but the fluids in one’s body, allowing the user to manipulate a body's muscles to move as they wish or to stop movement completely. Potentially, a Blood bender could stop a victim's heart or crush his/her internal organs, though this has not been stated. Blood bending is said to only be performed during the night when there is a full moon, when water benders experience a significant increase in their powers. Only the most powerful Water benders are able to use this technique and only when they are in a great state of anger can it be used without a full moon.

Solutions: It has been shown that Water benders can bend any liquid that is partially water, or anything that contains water.

Other Weapons: he carries 2 knives one hidden in each boot, he also carries a short blade on the back of his waist that is infused with the power of the water tribe enabling it to take on the water or ice elements to add power to it.


Character History: Mizu was born to 2 unknown figures both of them adept at water bending and raised in the southern water tribe village at the age of 6 the fire nation attacked and raided the village, they took all of the men to work at a fire nation war plant, and Mizu never saw his father again…him and the other children along with the elderly and the women were taken to a fire nation work camp where Kumori lived for 5 years, His mother died shortly after he turned 11 this made Mizu very distant and it was even worse once the fire benders began to talk of execution, Mizu knew his day had come he was taken into a room and forced to his knees as they branded the number 18 on the back of his neck afterwards he was thrown in his cell, Mizu however managed to avoid execution until the day of his 15 birthday over the years Mizu had noticed how he loved the water and how it made him feel he soon after in his 14th year discovered he could water bend he practiced with the small amount of water they gave him and on small puddles of water after it rained, the day after his 15th birthday Mizu was taken to the execution grounds just before it was his turn however the water tribe attacked the camp freeing everybody and killing all of the fire nation inside, the teachers at the northern water tribe noticed how he had a blooming talent for water bending he was accepted and given the rank of beginner he received his water tribe tattoo and began his training vowing to defeat the fire lord and master water bending so he would forever be known. After he finished his own training he quickly rose through the ranks of the water bending lineage and eventually became a water bending lord.

approved if you can add the water master moves lol. Makes it easier for people to know what moves you actually do etc.
